What’s the story?

Your site is a business asset, a pretty important one.

You don’t have to be a web expert to get it right but you don’t have time to try out endless random ideas either.
There are thousands of blogs and webinars out there, telling you about a million things you could do. But there’s really only one thing you should be doing.

Forget about coding or choosing the font and colours that are just rightfocus on how your site visitors feel. When they experience you online, can you make them say to themselves…

“This is exactly what I’ve been looking for”

My story

I set up Claire Creative in 2012 when I was expecting my son. I wanted to be flexible and free to be with him and keep doing the work that I loved.

One night, about a year into the business I was sitting at my kitchen table, it was way past midnight (not an uncommon occurrence). My baby boy was asleep, my husband was asleep and I was sitting there at my laptop clicking away trying to get a client’s website finished. I was deciding on images and wording for the home page and I just thought…”What am I doing?” It was far too late to email the client with questions, so I was going to have to make big design decisions without their input!

“This would just be so much better for everyone if we sat down to make this site together!”

That’s when it clicked. From then on I would work one on one with my clients to create their sites. As soon as I started doing this I was able to truly understand what my clients wanted and needed. They drive the design and I guide them. They feel more ownership of the site because they help to create it. And because we made it together they understand how everything works. They learn as it all comes together before their eyes!

Since making this change in my business I no longer work past midnight, I no longer work on weekends. I offer my clients a clear path to getting more clients and money using their website to its full potential.

My clients look to me to get unstuck. They're frustrated. They don't feel in control of how they appear online and they waste time tweaking small details. I help them see the big picture.

There is so much 'noise' online. Every other blog post and webinar tell you to build an email list, grow your social media followers, start a YouTube channel! I collaborate one on one with my clients to find the right development plan that will attract their ideal clients.

I work face to face* with my clients throughout the process. They never have to wait for a developer to answer their emails. My process has communication and collaboration as its foundation!

I use Skype and Zoom for video consultancy.
