Getting the clients and avoiding the overwhelm

When you’re trying to get clients online you’re often on high alert to all the things that you should be doing to attract your ideal clients. This can often lead to a mix of different strategies running all at once and it can feel a bit overwhelming.

There are lots of great free resources out there, blog posts and webinars, telling you about various great ways to drive traffic, grow your social media following, build your email list, but if you try to do them all at once, you’ll use up a lot of your precious time!

Know what works…

I often see small businesses running 5 or 6 strategies all at once, without even realising it! But they’re not even sure which ones are working. If you find that you’re spending a lot of time on your online business growth but it’s not showing up as an increased revenue, I want to invite you to do this little exercise today.

Simply write down all the things that you spend time on to increase your online reach.

  • Are you engaging in Facebook groups?
  • Are you posting regularly on numerous social media platforms?
  • Are you building your mailling list?
  • Creating freebies and blog content?
  • Are you working on the SEO for your website?

Write down every single thing you do to get your business seen and found online.

Now. How do you measure the success of each of these strategies? Do you have reporting tools available to you to check how each of these activities converts?

When you understand what works and what doesn’t based on facts, you’ll be able to make decisions about what to keep pushing and what to let go of.

Your time is precious! Make sure you’re using it wisely.
