Shiny idea syndrome anyone?
As business owners we have problem-solving, creative brains. When we step into the noisy online world, with all its potential, its advice and ideas, we get pulled in a bunch of different directions at a time! And often, we get pulled away from the work we set out to do in the first place.
My approach to digital marketing strategy is to do less, better. The key is to focus on actions that are aligned to you and help you to connect with the people who need your services in a way that makes them think:
“This is exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
Your strategy should attract your ideal clients and get them ready to work with you so that you can make more money doing the work you love. This is what I do with my clients.
“I’ve been using the tools Claire created for me for a few months. As a result, I’ve signed up 6 new clients. I’ve also had people who have signed up to my list and converted as a result of seeing the website that Claire produced”.
I set up Claire Creative in 2012. I was expecting my son at the time and I wanted to be flexible and free to be with him and keep doing the work that I loved.
I love my work, but Claire Creative didn’t start out as a dream business. In the first couple of years, I was often overworked, underpaid and stressed out! The business that I had created to have more freedom was stressing me out and taking up all my time. I needed to make changes.
