Living with the Moon

Website rebrand and interactive calendar

The Brief:

Update the Living with the Moon website and calendar system to be more appealing to its target audience and repair broken links and subscriber features.

Background:

Jutta, the site owner, had been creating incredibly valuable content for some time, but the style of the site was had been assembled over time by different designers. It was looking outdated and many of the elements were not functioning.

The LWTM Calendar:

Jutta, was creating a complicated PDF download every month for her subscribers and wanted to create something more interactive. We wanted to create something that felt like a mobile app that is easy to use for the subscribers and easy for Jutta to maintain herself.

The website before the redesign:

What we did:

  • Created a new logo and colour system.
  • Removed all the broken elements of the site and made a simpler more user-friendly navigation.
  • Redesigned the core pages of the site.
  • I created an interactive calendar and Jutta and I collaborated on the new system of icons for ‘The Month Ahead”.

You should check it out!

Jutta has taken control of the site and blogs regularly.

Since we updated the site Jutta’s mailing list has steadily grown and her website traffic has skyrocketed!! Woohoo!
