What does it mean to be consistent? Does it mean posting every day at the same time? Naah. Being consistent is more about holding a space in people’s minds.
3 keys to getting clients online for your services.
1. Visibility
The folks you want to work with need to be able to find you. And this is not just about posting on social media. The visibility work you do needs to be something you can do again and again and again! It doesn’t have to be on social platforms unless that’s something that works for you.
2. Credibility
When they find out about you, you need to be cultivating trust and even likability. People work with people they know, like and trust… I know I do! Credibility online comes from your brand, messaging and the positioning of your services, which can be further supported by demonstrating your expertise with site or social content.
3. Consistency
This is a tough one, especially for folks working solo. Align your visibility with tasks that you enjoy or at least don’t grate too hard! Try to avoid too many massive changes or you’ll confuse people.
When you show up for your audience, leads and even your clients, you’re not aiming to confuse them. Rather, you want to resonate, be useful, and remembered for what you offer.
Honestly though…
My patience for social media ebbs and flows. Sometimes I post a LOT, then I might disappear for a bit to recharge and build relationships with people in a more direct way. I don’t worry about scheduling really. I try to focus on a handful of the same topics, delivered with the same tone, towards the same outcome. This is true for my visibility stuff all the way through to how I serve my clients.
Do you show up in a consistent way?
